Accessories we currently offer for the Halo:
SOFT BAG: Our Soft Bag is a custom-made soft “gig” style bag perfectly sized for carrying a Halo. The Bag has backpack straps as well as comfortable carrying handles.
We think you will agree with us that the Bag is a nice home for the Halo when it is not being played!
Ordered as an accessory, the Soft Bag costs $75.
TRAVEL HARD CASE: For travelers, we offer hard cases for the Halo. Our Travel Hard Case should protect a Halo in a cargo hold of a plane or during the rigors of day to day touring.
The Travel Hard Case is designed to hold a Halo protected in a Soft Bag, but in a pinch it can also hold a Halo alone.
The Travel Hard Case costs $230.
HALO STAND: The preferred playing position of the Halo is on the lap, but we understand that some people will have an easier time playing it on a stand.
Our lightweight Halo Stand follows a common, collapsible percussion design which holds the Halo securely, yet allows it to be gracefully "dialed" into the position of your liking. The stand has a maximum extension of 25", making it appropriate for playing in a seated position.
Ordered as an accessory, the Halo Stand costs $50.
Currently, a Halo comes with either a free Soft Bag or a free Halo Stand.
Our advice is to choose the Soft Bag (though it costs us more to include a Bag than a Stand). Our reasoning is that:
(a) You will always need some way to transport your Halo safely; (b) We will sleep better at night knowing that every Halo is secure in a custom enclosure when not being played; and (c) Shipping the Halo to you is more secure if it is in a Bag.
But the choice is yours!
Note: if you choose the Stand we do charge a small additional shipping fee.
MAILING POLICY
Purchase of a Halo includes free shipping (in a box) of your instrument and a Soft Bag (if you are getting one) anywhere in the world except unusually expensive destinations including Australia, Taiwan, Chile, and a small number of other locations. (Expense in excepted countries is a result of their postal services not allowing packages as large as the Halo, requiring us to use international shipping services such as UPS which are very expensive.)
Shipment is via UPS Ground within the US (2-5 days to most addresses), and via the US Post Office’s international service elsewhere (6-10 days to most addresses).
International customers may pay for expedited shipping via UPS’s international service, and domestic customers who prefer to upgrade to UPS’s air services, may do so at their expense. Inquire with us for current rates.
Unless you buy a Travel Hard Case, your Halo will be shipped in a custom reinforced reusable cardboard box (measuring 27" x 27" x 13") to keep it safe in transit. This box should be kept in case you need to send your Halo back to us for repair or for a tune-up. If your box is worn out or damaged, we will replace it when we send your Halo back to you.
If you purchase or choose a Stand or Travel Hard Case, we pass additional shipping charges to you.
The Stand is lightweight (about five pounds), so additional shipping charges should not be great; currently, we charge a flat fee of $15 for North American customers and $35 for international customers for shipping the Stand . Shipment via expedited services will cost more.
The Travel Hard Case is a heavy-duty item and it weighs almost as much as the Halo itself. You may incur a significant shipping cost for it.
Note: shipping charges may change if our carriers change their rates.
